Mohsin Naqvi reviews progress on under-construction projects in Islamabad

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Jinnah Square Murree Road Underpass Project in Islamabad late last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

Mohsin Naqvi also inspected Shaheen Chowk Margalla Road and Faizabad Interchange. 

Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the progress of the construction work and expressed satisfaction with the pace of the work. 

Mohsin Naqvi directed to complete the Jinnah Square Murree Road Underpass Project within the stipulated time. 

Mohsin Naqvi said that all energies should be utilized to complete the project in record time. 

Beautiful lights should be installed from Jinnah Square to Faizabad Chowk and landscaping should be done. 

The Interior Minister directed to make the highway from Jinnah Square to Faizabad Chowk a model road. 

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited Shaheen Chowk on Margalla Road. 

Mohsin Naqvi said that Margalla Road will be made signal-free in phases to eliminate traffic rush. 

He said Faizabad Interchange is the most important connection between Islamabad and Rawalpindi and Faizabad Interchange will be widened to improve traffic flow. 

Mohsin Naqvi further said our goal is to make Islamabad a world-class city in terms of public facilities. 

Mohsin Naqvi has directed to start work on the remodeling of Faizabad Interchange soon. 

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed Mohsin Naqvi about the projects.
