Blast at Quetta s Jinnah Road kills four, injures 15

Four people have died while several others sustained injuries after an explosion occurred at Quetta's Jinnah Road, reported 24NewsHD TV Thursday.
The blast took place near the Science College at Jinnah Road, adding that the explosion took place near a vehicle.
Witnesses told the police that glass windows of buildings situated in the vicinity of the blast were shattered.
The blast is said to have occurred when a gathering of Jamiat Nazriati was being held at Science College.
Police said that the nature of the explosion is still being investigated, while security forces and rescue officials have reached the site of the explosion.
The injured have been shifted to the city's Civil Hospital.

Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital Dr Javaid Akhtar said the best medical facilities are being extended to the injured. He said an emergency has been imposed in the hospital and all the medical staff has been called back to duty.
He said around 15 injured were brought to the hospital who were being treated while the administration has increased the security of the hospital.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo has condemned the blast and expressed grief over deaths and injuries during the incident.
Bizenjo also showed his displeasure and dissatisfaction over the security arrangements in the provincial capital and has sought a report from IG Police in this regard.
He said it was the security agencies responsibility to make sure the safety of life and property of the public and the people can’t be left alone on the mercy of the terrorists.
He also directed the provincial adviser on home affairs to review the security plan of the city and make it a foolproof one.
He also directed for immediate provision of the best facilities for the treatment of the injured and also prayed for their quick recovery.
