Election Commission has issued notice to Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s son for violating the election rules regarding the city council mayorship of Dera Ismail Khan.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the notice is issued to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl group (JUI-F) Chief’s son Asad Mehmood who is an elected member of the National Assembly.

The channel report said that the MNA Asad violated the election code of conduct on which he has been summoned to appear on February 01.

City Mayor candidate from the JUI-F Kafil Nizami is also ordered to appear on the same day. The notice is issued from the office of the Regional Election Commissioner and District Monitoring Officer

It is being reported that Maulana Fazlur Rehman's son Asad Mahmood had attended the meeting of Kafil Nizami which is a violation of the rules.
