A terrorist was killed in an intelligence-based operation in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ISPR said on Monday.

“On 29 January, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan District,” it said.

The military media wing said during the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists, killing terrorist Naikmanullah.

The dead remained actively involved in the killing of innocent civilians, it said, adding that a huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was also recovered.
