Woman, child die in road accident near Bahawalpur

Two people, a woman and a child, lost their lives when a tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle while reversing in Yazman near Bahawalpur on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The accident occurred in village Chak No. 106 DB.

According to details, a five-year-old boy who was identified as Ahad Mohsin died on the spot while his aunty Shahida Bibi received critical injuries .

Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to Victoria Hospital where Shahid Bibi breathed her last.

Later, their bodies were shifted to hospital’s mortuary for post-martom.

The driver of the tractor was escaped from the scene.

Police registered a case against driver Shahid Gujjar son of Ramzan. SHO Mohammad Hussain said that the driver of the tractor will be apprehended.
