Speaking in 24NewsHD TV channel’s morning show 24@9 on Thursday, Rabi Pirzada said she has been painting for quite a long time. “After showbiz, I have been focusing all her time on drawing paintings,” she said, adding she was not a newcomer in the painting world.

“When I was away from the mainstream media I was doing two most important things. I was actually trying to find out myself and then doing paintings. When I did Umrah I realized that Islam gives immense rights to women and found all my answers then I came back and started to paint,” she said.

Rabi said she had been painting since the age of eight. She claimed that no one can draw a portrait of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah like she can draw.

Pirzada regretted that when she appealed for support to local artists like her then Adnan Sami tweeted in her favour. “I feel sorry for those people who claim to be a patriot but did not want to support local artists. I rejected the Rs6.5m offer for one of my paintings from Amritsar Art Gallery just because I wanted to sell my artworks in Pakistan,” she further said.

She had also started content writing for news websites such as US News Box. She has also hosted a weekly television show. Rabi frequently makes guest appearances on Pakistani television comedy and talk shows.

In 2018, Peerzada made her debut in the film Shor Sharaba in the lead role alongside Meera.
