More increase in petrol prices recommended

Petroleum Division Friday suggested the Prime Minister (PM) to increase prices of Petrol by Rs1.71 per litre.

According to the 24News HD TV Channel, the PM Secretariat has received recommendations from the Petroleum Division for revising the prices of petroleum products in the country.

As per the report, the division has recommended an increase in the price of petrol by Rs1.71 per litre as well as it also proposed to retain the diesel prices.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would take the final decision tomorrow after consultation with the Prime Minister.

After the final decision, the Federal Ministry of Finance would issue notification of new prices of the petroleum products that would be implemented from August 01, 2021.
