Imran Khan seeks exemption from court hearing

Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday filed in the court an application for one-day exemption from appearance in the case of damaging public property during the party’s long march, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Dr. Babar Awan, counsel for the former prime minister, filed the application in which it was stated that his client could not appear in the court today due to some engagements. “Therefore, he be granted exemption from appearance in the court today,” read the petition.
