Farhan Saeed criticized for publicly admiring Parampara Thakur's ‘fantastic’ vocals
Popular Pakistani actor Farhan Saeed has been criticized online after publicly admiring Indian singer Parampara Thakur for her exceptional vocals amidst tension between India and Pakistan.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Farhan Saeed uploaded a video of Parampara Thakur in which she can be seen passionately and very beautifully singing one of her touching songs Ranjhan Ranjhan, while having some tasks in the Kitchen, whereas her partner, Sachet Tandon, can be seen playing guitar in the background.
Giving a big shoutout to the female singer’s vocal powers, Farhan wrote: “Makes me skip a beat always. What a fantastic vocals mashaAllah, precisely why I love music.”
Farhan Saeed above-mentioned gesture has sparked reactions on social media with many expressing that art and music transcend borders: however, others argued that showbiz figures should be more cautious with their words during such sensitive times.
“Yes, she has a nice voice, but she and her husband supported the attack on Pakistan. I used to really like both of them, but no matter how well she sings, it shouldn't matter to us anymore,” a fan wrote.
“Soulful voice but don't forget what they did in the recent past. Ajeeb,” another added.
