It shows Netanyahu visiting the grave of his brother, Yonatan Netanyahu, a military commander who died during the 1976 Entebbe raid in Uganda. The image was taken at an annual memorial service, not during a secret funeral in 2025.

The fact-checkers concluded that the story was fabricated, though they acknowledged one kernel of truth: Israel currently enforces strict media control, particularly regarding military operations and wartime events.

During the recent 12-day conflict with Iran, the Israeli government has not released specific figures on casualties or infrastructure damage.
