Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to the nation has been postponed, 24NewsHD TV channel reported. 

PTI leader Faisal Javed made the announcement in a tweet.

The development took place hours ahead of MQM-P's official announcement of joining the opposition ranks.

Earlier in the day, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said the PM’s address to the nation is going to be very important.

Prime Minister Imran Khan convened the urgent meeting to discuss the issue of the international conspiracy to topple his government. Leaders of the allied political parties have been specially invited to join the meeting, the PM House said.
