Record 383,000 people vaccinated in a single day: Asad Umar

NCOC Head and Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar said that Pakistan has set a new record of vaccination and inoculated over 383,000 in a single day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet uploaded on Sunday, Asad Umar said that so far more than seven million people have been vaccinated. “The number of registrants is also steadily increasing and 11.663 million people have been registered,” he added.

Separately, Punjab Health Minister Yasmeen Rashid has said that the spread of coronavirus in Punjab has reduced significantly.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Sunday, Yasmin Rashid said that the ratio of corona positive cases in Lahore has reduced to 1.5 percent as corona SOPs have been strictly enforced. She said smart lockdown has been enforced in six areas of Lahore.
