Cases of lumpy virus continue to rise in Sindh

Cases of lumpy skin disease continue to rise across Sindh, for the total number of cattle heads infected with lumpy virus has reached 49,616, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to the Sindh Livestock Department, as many as 557 cattle heads have died due to lumpy virus.
The highest number of cases has been reported in Karachi where the number has reached 20,328.
Currently, as many as 23,363 cattle heads are infected with the virus.
Also, more than two million cattle have been vaccinated against lumpy virus.
