Pakistani actor Usama Khan shared a hilarious memory from the COVID-19 pandemic during an appearance on a morning show hosted by Nida Yasir.
Recalling the incident, Usama revealed that his father had contracted COVID-19 during the height of the pandemic.
Wanting to protect his father from additional stress, Usama decided not to tell him that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

Instead, he reassured him that it was only a minor infection and encouraged him not to worry.
However, his plan took an unexpected turn.
Usama explained that he was unable to attend the promotional appearance for one of his drama serials because he was staying home to take care of his father.
Ironically, he encouraged his father to watch the morning show featuring the cast.
While watching the live transmission, his father learned the truth when Nida Yasir mentioned on air that Usama could not join the show because his father had COVID-19.
The revelation left everyone in the studio laughing as Usama's efforts to keep the diagnosis a secret was instantly undone on national television.
At the COVID-19 time, fear and uncertainty were associated with the infection, as many people did not know how severely they would be affected or whether they would recover.
Families across the world were living with anxiety as news of rising cases and deaths dominated headlines.
Usama Khan is one of Pakistan's most popular television actors. Originally trained as an accountant, he completed his ACCA before leaving the corporate sector to pursue acting.
He rose to fame with his award-winning performance in Sanwari and has since appeared in hit dramas including Dobara, Aik Sitam Aur, Sunn Mere Dil and Chhup Chhup Kay.
