Woman who has swallowed heroin-filled capsules arrested at Islamabad Airport

During its countrywide crackdown on drug peddlers, the Anti-Narcotic Force arrested a woman from Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday and recovered 20 heroin-filled capsules from her stomach, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, the ANF detained a woman at Islamabad Airport who was flying to Jeddah. During search, they found that she had swallowed 20 heroin-filled capsules which they recovered.
The ANF also arrested a man who was going to Masqat and recovered 986 gm crystal methamphetamine (ice) from his bag.
The Anti-Narcotic Force also recovered 500 stimulating tablets from a parcel booked for London at International Mail Office, Rawalpindi.
The police recovered 1.4 kg ice from a parcel booked for Canada at a private courier company in Attock. The ice was concealed in kitchen cutting boards.
The ANF recovered 69.6kg charas and 20.4 kg opium from a pickup near Sheikhupura toll plaza. They arrested the accused who is a Peshawar resident.
The police also foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs into Punjab during an action on Peshawar Ring Road. They impounded a car and recovered 10.4 kg heroin concealed in secret places in the car.
At Zero Line checking point at Torkham, the ANF recovered 930 stimulating drugs from an Afghan national.
During an action in North Nazimabad, Karachi, the ANF recovered 27.6 kg charas loaded on a rickshaw.
In a raid on a private courier agency situated at Shahre Faisal, Karachi, the ANF recovered 6.6 kg heroin from a parcel booked for London. The heroin was concealed in Maswak (tooth cleaning sticks). Police arrested the accused.
In joint action, the ANF and FC Balochistan recovered 1,900 kg opium from Nokandi Sehan area.
The ANF registered cases against the accused under Anti-Narcotic Act.
