Customs Enforcement Sargodha foil several smuggling bids: FBR

Federal Board of Revenue has said that Customs Enforcement Sargodha foiled several smuggling attempts in 24 hours. 

According to details, a non-customs paid Toyota Prius was seized on Motorway M-14. Foreign cigarettes worth around Rs 1 crore seized in Dajal area of Bhakkar district. 

A vehicle was stopped in Sahiwal area of Sargodha which was carrying 48,000 litres of industrial solvent. FBR said the quantity of solvent was only shown as 24,000 litres in the documents. Foreign cigarettes, China salt, bags of skimmed milk powder, glutamine powder and other prohibited items seized in Faisalabad.
