Thousands march in London against Israeli aggression in Gaza

A large protest took place in central London on Saturday as thousands marched to denounce Israeli military actions against Palestinians in Gaza, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Despite persistent rain and biting cold, crowds gathered at Hyde Park Corner before making their way to Whitehall, where demonstrations continued into the afternoon, according to news agency reports.

Carrying Palestinian flags, banners and placards, protesters chanted slogans calling for an end to Israeli aggression and expressed solidarity with Palestinians trapped in the ongoing conflict.

Organisers accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza and urged the international community to intervene immediately.

Many participants demanded an end to what they described as Israel’s illegal occupation and called for sustained global pressure to halt the violence.

The demonstration forms part of a series of large-scale pro-Palestine rallies held across the UK in recent months, as public anger grows over the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
