PML-N former MPA Sardar Vickas Moakal, independent candidate from Kasur Rana Mumtaz and independent PA candidate from Gujranwala Ch Nisar Iqbal Buttar called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi and announced joining Pakistan Muslim League (PML) along with their colleagues.

Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Khwaja Waqar-ul-Hassan and Rana Liaquat Ali Khan were also present during the meeting.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that constituent assembly status to Gilgit-Baltistan was given by Muslim League under leadership of Ch Shujat Hussain, credit for Karakoram International University, dry port, power to change governance laws and construction of 7,000 kilometers long highways also go to Pakistan Muslim League whereas other political parties ruled Gilgit-Baltistan but did nothing for the province.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that we have always raised voce for deprived segment, being spokesman is focus of our politics. He said that for committing dacoity on the vote of people in Gilgit-Baltistan work is going on day and night. He said that those chanting slogan of give respect to vote have always made fun of the interests of the people, Gilgit-Baltistan people should very cautiously decide about their future and exercise the right of vote.

Ch Parvez Elahi lauded the sacrifices offered by the people of Gilgit-Baltistan for the country.

Sardar Vickas Moakal, Rna Mumtaz and Nisar Iqbal Buttar said that we have joined PML impressed by the vision of Ch Parvez Elahi for serving the people.
