Dengue fever continued its ‘attacks’ across Pakistan and infected hundreds of more people across the country in the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

In Punjab, another 401 dengue cases have been reported and the authorities have increased the number of beds at public hospitals.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 253 new cases were reported in the province in the last 24 hours, and currently, 1,547 people are infected with the dengue virus. 

KP Health Department said that 313 people were also discharged from various hospitals. The death toll in KP rose to eight so far.

In Karachi, 44 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

As many as 69 more dengue cases were recorded in Islamabad with six in serious condition.
