The PTI leadership has expressed condolence over the tragic death of a journalist after falling from a contain during the long march, 24NewsHD TV channel reported. 

Following the death, former finance minister Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter and paid tribute to Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem.

“I have rarely seen a more courageous and hardworking reporter than Sadaf,” he tweeted, adding that he go her introduced to Imran Khan. She had an interview yesterday.

The PTI march was on its way to the federal capital when the tragedy took place near Muridke.

Channel 5 Reporter Sadaf Naeem was on duty, and according to a rescue spokesperson, she fell off a container and was crushed to death after Imran Khan’s container ran over her.

Imran Khan himself came down and announced halting the march on GT Road.

“An unfortunate incident occurred. We had to go to Kamoke but due to the accident, the march has to be stopped. Tomorrow the march will start again,” he said.
