Al-Qaeda terrorist arrested with explosives in Okara

Crime Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terrorist belonging to banned organization Al-Qaeda during intelligence-based operation in Okara, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to CTD, terrorist arrested with explosives, detonators, prima cards, useless electric circuits and illegal weapons.

More than 2kg usable explosives were recovered from the Okara terrorist and were defused by calling in bomb disposal personnel.

The arrested terrorist named Junaid Ashraf is a resident of Anwar Colony, Tando Muhammad Khan.

The terrorist arrested with explosives wanted to spread terror and panic at different places in the city by keeping explosives with him.

CTD Sahiwal police station registered a case against terrorist and started further investigation.
