Al-Qaeda terrorist killed in Karachi encounter
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Karachi in a major operation at Hawks Bay killed a terrorist Saeed Loha associated with banned outfit Al-Qaeda Subcontinent in an exchange of fire, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
Saeed Loha was severely injured in the exchange of fire but he could not survive when he was shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.
CTD In-charge Mazhar Mashwani said two bombs were recovered from the terrorist’s bag which was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) personnel.
The TV channel also reported that Saeed Loha associates belonging to ‘Subcontinent Group’ were killed in 2016 in a drone attack but he managed to flee to Afghanistan.
The CTD In-charge said more information is being collected about the terrorist.
