FIA releases Red Book 2025 of most wanted human smugglers, traffickers
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has released new Red Book 2025 of the most wanted human smugglers and traffickers which comprised the details of 143 most wanted human smugglers, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to details, Gujranwala region tops human trafficking list with 70 accused. Moreover, FIA made comparison of 2025 Red book with with 2023 Red Book. Out of 156 accused included in the Red Book 2023, 51 were arrested while the name of one accused was was removed from the Red Book on the recommendation of the Zonal Office. While 104 accused of 2023 book were retained.
39 new smugglers names were included in the Red Book 2025. There were 20 names in the Red Book 2023 from Lahore Circle of Punjab Zone. 6 accused were arrested while 14 accused from Lahore retained in the new Red Book. The 71 names were included in the Red Book 2023 from Gujranwala region. 31 out of 71 arrested and 30 more new additions were made in 2025 Red Book making the total number to 70. 1 out of 12 arrested from Faisalabad as per 2023 Red Book.
11 retained from Faisalabad, 2 new additions, total number reaches 13. 1 arrested from Multan, 2 retained, 1 new accused added, total number reaches 3. 9 out of 34 arrested from Islamabad. 25 are unarrested, no new suspects added. There were 12 suspects in the 2023 Red Book from Karachi Circle of Sindh Zone. Out of 12, 2 were arrested and 10 are still pending. No new names were added to the 2025 Red Book from Karachi. Out of 2, 1 was arrested, 1 was still pending, no new ones added from Quetta Circle of Balochistan Zone. 1 out of 2 arrested from Peshawar Circle, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1 held. No one was included in the 2023 red from Kohat.
6 new accused from Kohat included in the 2025 red book. Moreover, 7 women are also included in the most wanted accused. FIA has also released the names, addresses and photos of the accused in the red book. The red book also includes the phone numbers of the relevant focal persons to report the accused.
