A woman was stoned to death in a tribal area of Jampur, 24News HD TV channel reported.

According to the border military police (BMP), the woman was killed in the name of honour at Chicha police station.

The victim is identified as Yatim Zarnaz a resident of Gorran village of Thal.

She was tied with a rope and stoned to death by her husband and his accomplice.

The accused is on the run after killing the victim.

A case has been registered and an investigation is on.

According to her brother, she was killed by her husband named Baggu, her brother-in-law Bachu and their accomplices.

Border military police handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem.
