Nawaz Sharif departs for Singapore

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday left Lahore for Singapore on a four-day private foreign visit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, Nawaz Sharif left on a special aircraft. He was accompanied by his sons Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, and his personal physician Dr Adnan.

The former prime minister will proceed to China after completing his Singapore visit.

Earlier on August 30, 2026, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif shared a "100-day reform plan" to improve healthcare, education, sanitation, infrastructure and other sectors in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) during a meeting with the newly appointed AJK prime minister and speaker.

According to a statement posted on X, AJK Prime Minister Iftikhar Gillani and Legislative Assembly Speaker Tariq Farooq called on Nawaz Sharif in Lahore.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz were also present in the meeting.
