Gold prices crash in Pakistan

The gold prices Tuesday crashed in Pakistani markets as the yellow metal took a big blow in the international market and Pakistan rupee also recovered its value against the US dollar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the All Pakistan jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karat gold reached Rs201500 per tola after seeing a decrease of Rs9000.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold reached Rs172,754 after seeing a decrease of Rs7716.

The price of 22-Karat gold, used in making the jewellery, reached Rs184645 per tola after seeing a decrease of Rs8247.

The price of 10 grams of 22-Karat gold reached Rs158358 after seeing a decrease of Rs5894.

In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold decreased by $22 and was being traded for $1902.

The prices of silver in the country also decreased as the 24-Karat silver was being traded for Rs2250 per tola and Rs1929 per 10 grams after seeing a decrease of Rs50 and Rs42.88, respectively.
