Nepra cuts power tariff by Rs2.31 per unit

National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved a cut of Rs2.31 per unit in electricity tariff, ensuring a relief of Rs18.70 billion to the consumers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Nepra’s decision unveiled on Tuesday will not be implied to lifeline and K-Electric consumers.
The consumers will get benefit from this Nepra decision in their electricity bills of February.
The Nepra will release details of its decision later.
