Ahsan Iqbal again contracts coronavirus

PML-N’s Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal has again tested positive for the coronavirus.

He confirmed the news on his Twitter account.

He wrote: “I have been again tested positive for coronavirus and have quarantined myself. I request my friends, well-wishers and especially to the people of Narowal to pray for my quick recovery, wear the mask and observe the SOPs.”

Earlier, Ahsan Iqbal was tested positive for coronavirus last year in June. Pakistan is currently experiencing a fourth wave of coronavirus triggered by a more deadly and contagious Indian variant of the disease.

Ahsan was quite active during the AJK and Sialkot elections. PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz has also contracted the coronavirus second time after holding public rallies during the AJK elections.
