Husband-wife war lands in Lahore court with man on receiving end
Aqeel Abbas moved on Wednesday an application in the court seeking justice, stating that his wife Raheela Noreen, a resident of Allama Iqbal Town, is issuing threats to him and does not allowing him to meet their child.
He said she also phoned at his office and they sacked him. “I married her through court in 2016 but now there is no peace in my life,” he added.
Abbas said he also moved an application in the FIA Cyber Crime Wing for lodging a case but they are reluctant to admit his application.
“There is a threat to his life as armed men are issuing threats to me,” he said.
When contacted, Raheela Noreen said “This is a fight between husband and wife and I want to teach him a lesson.”
Additional Sessions Judge Hammad Azhar heard the case and sought a reply from the FIA.
