Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is faced with quite a difficult situation after defections by some MNAs of his own party, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), and parting of the ways by two major allies of the government, is due to chair Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) political committee meeting in Islamabad shortly today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

Besides that, he is also scheduled to meet State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) governor, National Assembly deputy speaker Qasim Suri, Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan and MNA Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan. 

Even ‘estranged’ member of the National Assembly belonging to PTI Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s meeting with the prime minister is also scheduled today.     

Similarly, there are reports that PTI MNAs from Sindh will also meet with PM Imran. 

Likewise, Abdul Ghafoor Wattoo, MNA from NA-166, Muhammad Farooq Azam, MNA from NA-170, Mubeen Ahmed, MNA from NA-175 and Javed Iqbal from NA-179, are also expected to meet with the premier today.
