India’s domestic issues force its leaders to make anti-Pakistan statements
The Indian army chief’s recent statement in which he had hinted at launching Operation Sindoor-II against Pakistan is an attempt to divert attention from his country's internal issues, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
It is after suffering defeat at the hands of Pakistan in Marka-e-Haq and failing to achieve its political objectives that Indian military and civilian leaders have once more resorted to making anti-Pakistan statements.
Pakistan’s rising stature in the world and India’s diplomatic failures have once again forced the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government to talk about military adventures.
The Indian army chief, in his statement, had himself admitted that in modern warfare, every movement was noticed by enemy forces and nothing could be concealed from them.
The statement has come at a time when there is a lot of opposition to PM Modi’s flawed policies at home, and this is the growing pressure on the Indian government that has forced it to make such inflammatory statements.
