Pakistani actress Saba Qamar is reportedly set to portray Anmol, widely known as “Pinky,” in a new biographical drama currently being developed by 7th Sky Entertainment.
According to details shared by Diva Magazine, acclaimed actress Saba Qamar has reportedly been chosen for the lead role and will take on the challenge of portraying one of Pakistan’s most controversial figures.
The script is reportedly being written by journalist and television host Shahzaib Khanzada, who previously wrote drama serial Case No 9.
The project is expected to explore the events, controversies and public attention surrounding drug dealer Anmol aka Pinky.
Other official details regarding the storyline and title of the project remain under wraps for now.
The production house 7th Sky Entertainment is known for delivering some of Pakistan’s most popular television dramas including Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Tere Bin, Deewangi and Khaani.

As for Saba Qamar, she is regarded as one of Pakistan’s finest and most versatile actresses.

A few weeks ago, Saba herself shared that she would love to take on such challenging characters.
