Areeba Habib reacts to ‘Burger on Bakra Eid’ parody by Faiza Saleem
Pakistani actress Areeba Habib reacted to a social media skit that highlighted how some overly sheltered and westernized youngsters behave during Bakra Eid.
Shared by comedian and content creator Faiza Saleem, the video portrays a stereotypical "burger" character, a term commonly used in Pakistan for elite youngsters who are often perceived as being disconnected from local culture, traditions and even Urdu language.
The skit follows a woman interacting with a butcher during Eid-ul-Adha preparations while making a series of exaggerated and humorous requests.

From asking whether the knife had been sanitized to worrying that the butcher was being too rough with the sacrificial animal.
In one scene, she questions whether the butcher has ever become emotionally attached to any of the animals.
In another, she rushes to call her mother after noticing that the butcher is not wearing gloves.
The comedy continues as she complains that the transparent meat bag does not match her aesthetic and even suggests delaying meat distribution until sunset because the lighting is not suitable for photos.
The character also jokingly asks for the car's air conditioning to be kept on during meat distribution because the meat appears to be "sweating."
Amused by the video, Areeba Habib shared the clip on her Instagram Story along with laughing emojis.
Fans in the comments section could not hold back their laughter.
