Actress Momina Iqbal’s bridal look draws attention at Dua-e-Khair ceremony
Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal's Dua-e-Khair ceremony was held as part of her ongoing wedding celebrations, marking a key moment in the series of events surrounding her marriage.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the gathering was attended by close family members and guests.
During the ceremony, the actress wore an elegant outfit in golden and light pink tones, with a traditional gharara that drew attention for its refined design.
Both the bride and groom appeared in graceful attire, which became a focal point of the event.
The ceremony comes days after reports confirmed that Momina Iqbal has married Hamza Habib.
According to earlier statements made during proceedings at the Lahore High Court (LHC), Hamza Habib had confirmed the marriage while addressing the media.
Hamza Habib said the couple had married two days earlier, adding that he was now the legal husband of Momina Iqbal.
“I am not her future husband; I am her husband now. Thank God we got married two days ago,” he told reporters.
The statement came during proceedings at the Lahore High Court, where Justice Abir Gul heard Hamza Habib’s protective bail application. The court granted protective bail and directed him to approach the relevant court by June 1.
Momina Iqbal’s sister, Rimsha, also appeared in court alongside Hamza Habib during the hearing.
The police in Jhang have registered a case against Hamza Habib over allegations of issuing threats to kill Saqib Chadhar.
The accused, however, rejected the allegations, terming the case “false and baseless".
Speaking to the media, Hamza Habib reiterated that Momina Iqbal is his legal wife and strongly denied the accusations against him.
He alleged that the case had been filed on political grounds and claimed he was previously offered money to separate from the actress.
He further said, “Momina is my honour, she is my wife and my lioness.”
There has been no official response from Saqib Chadhar regarding the allegations at this time.
