Two women, man murdered inside Peshawar house

Three members of a same family, including two women, were brutally killed with a sharp-edged weapon in Peshawar on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The incident took place in Qazi Klay area under the jurisdiction of Faqirabad Police Station in Peshawar.

The incident has spread fear and grief among local residents, prompting a swift response from law enforcement authorities.

According to a spokesperson for the Capital City Police Peshawar, unidentified assailants entered the victims’ home during the night and attacked them with a sharp-edged weapon, killing all three on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Rehman, son of Dilawar, aged 30, wife of Dilawar aged around 60, and the wife of Abdul Rehman aged approximately 26 years.

Soon after the incident was reported, SP Faqirabad Division Muhammad Arshad Khan, DSP Faqirabad Circle Umar Afridi, SHO Faqirabad Police Station Bilal Hussain, and Investigating Officer Kamran Marwat, along with a police team, reached the crime scene. The bodies were shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police officials inspected the site from multiple angles and have begun a comprehensive investigation to uncover the motive behind the gruesome murders and identify those responsible.
