A drug addict publicly inflicted ruthless violence on his wife in the Ahmadabad area of Narowal on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The addict used sticks and kicks to beat his wife. A video of his action went viral on social media.  

The accused named Mohsin aka Moosa Kumhar even dragged his wife into the street and thrashed her before the people. None of the People present at the time dared to stop the addict as the woman was screaming for help standing on the road.

The victim woman was pleading his husband to go away but he continued beating her.

Locals said that the accused is a drug addict and he was demanding money from his wife to get some drug but upon failing to convince her, he resorted to violence.

Man shot dead

A man was brutally tortured with sticks and shot dead by suspects over filing a drinking and gambling case against them in Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, 24-year-old Arslan was on his way to work from home when the accused encircled him in a chowk.

They tortured him with sticks and fled away after shooting him dead.

The dead body of the deceased was shifted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital for post-mortem.

A police team also reached the spot and launched investigations.

It is to be noted here that the deceased had filed a case against the accused for drinking and gambling.
