Sajal Aly to portray Madar-e-Millat in upcoming partition series

Partition was a very critical, traumatic and at the same time the happiest event in the lives of Muslims in the sub-continent.

In the process of partitioning, Fatimah Jinnah alongside her brother, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah played a very important and vital role.

The partition has been covered and portrayed many times and in many ways but not by the eyes of The Quaid’s sister.

Pakistani drama and film actress, Sajal Ali is reported to star in an upcoming series about partition as the honorable mother of our nation.

Along with Mom actress, senior actresses Samiya Mumtaz and Sundus Farhan will also be play the role portraying Fatima Jinnah in different times of her life.

The director and writer Danial K. Afzal says that it will have three seasons and each season will have 15 episodes. The first season will be for pre independence, the second for during the process of independence and the third for the post partition phases. He further says that the teaser is ready to go and every scene in it will correspond to a consequent season.

The sources report that the tiktok sensation and viral Instagram ‘Party girl’ Dananeer will also cast in the series.
