PM aide Atta Tarar has said the result of AJK local bodies polls showed the people reposed trust in the  PML-N, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

Imran Niazi’s game is over, he said while talking to the media in Gujranwala. “We’re ready for the next election," he added.

He came down hard on PTI and its allied party PML-Q, saying that the Punjab chief minister wanted his favourites to be the bigwigs of Punjab bureaucracy.

If  Punjab s willing, the federal government will post honest and impartial babus, he said adding that Parvez Elahi wants corrupt and dishonest persons on the top posts. The Punjab government has no courage to dissolve the assembly.

He continued: “We are people of democratic thinking and we stress that assemblies should complete their term. However, the PML-N is ready if they dissolve the assembly.

"Parvez Elahi and his son are power-hungry. It is their failure that the Punjab government could not supply flour in Punjab. Wheat is abundant in Punjab. The Punjab government is backing the hoarders and profiteers.

"When General Bajwa himself stated that the military became neutral after February, Moonis’ Elahi tried to defame General Bajwa by making the statement.

"The summary of the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly should not be given to Imran Khan but to the Governor. He has given that fake paper to Imran Khan to please him. The PML-Q has been divided into many parts.

"Imran Khan is the king of U-turns, he has now attributed the dissolution of assemblies to negotiations.  The consultative meeting of the PDM will be held in a couple of days and a decision will be taken regarding the negotiations"
