Gilgit-Baltistan Awami Awareness Party (BABP) leaders have demanded protection for Mehdi Shah Rizvi of Gilgit-Baltistan after the latter admitted that he was used by India for his anti-Pakistan rhetoric, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The TV channel reported that all the pieces of the Indian design are being exposed one after another as the evidence of Indian facilitators active in Gilgit-Baltistan came to light.

Chairman BABP Abbas Shabbir Advocate said India was using people in GB for its nefarious designs and Mehdi Shah has ‘exposed’ Indian conspiracies through a confessional video.

While, Mehdi Rizvi's sister Dr Tayyaba Rizvi said that her father always spoke of Pakistan and her brother Mehdi Shah exposed the facilitators of India. Dr Tayyaba Rizvi demanded the Prime Minister to provide security to her brother and claimed that his life is in danger.

The intricately woven network of the EU disinfo Lab operating inside Pakistan continues to untangle slowly, showing the attempts for penetration by hostile intelligence networks and use of their proxies to create unrest in the country.

While, GBAB demanded that action be taken against those working against Pakistan's accession to GB.

It is pertinent to note that youth from peaceful locality of Kharmang valley in Skardu made shocking revelations. Mehdi Shah Rizvi is son of late Haider Shah Rizvi, in a video message made a confession of how he was used by like-minded groups from abroad to create dissent amongst the locals and fuel a separatist movement.

“It was just because of these cheap people that my father was declared anti-Pakistan,” he said and added that they never knew that they were being used.”

He further said in a video message that international forums, operating under the cover of accredited NGOs working with the United Nations misled his father and forced him to give statements against the armed forces and the country.

Mehdi said he too was brainwashed and was told that his father was killed by “poisonous injections by the secret agencies.”

“But my father was not anti-Pakistan. He was not anyone’s agent. He wanted to work for his people, but he got exploited by them [fake NGOs working for RAW].”

Last December, an independent non-profit organisation focused on tackling sophisticated disinformation has exposed the latest iteration of an Indian influence campaign aimed at defaming Pakistan within the EU institutions.

According to an investigation by the EU DisinfoLab, a Brussels-based NGO, a coordinated influence operation, to malign Pakistan’s reputation, was being led by the New-Delhi-based Srivastava Group and amplified by Asia News International (ANI), an Indian news agency.
