Answer will be given to those who stand against forces: Sheikh Rashid

The Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid on Friday said that answer will be given to those who will stand against Pak Army or Civil Armed Forces, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Talking to the media, Sheikh Rashid said that whoever takes up arms should be dealt with by force. 

The Interior Minister said that our aim is to bring all of them within the ambit of the constitution and law. If someone is attacking the integrity of the country, then the answer has to be given.

Talking about the relations with the Taliban, the Information Minister said that our dialogue with the Taliban is very good. He further said that we have very good relations with the Taliban.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is trying to urge the world to provide the Taliban with assistance on economic and humanitarian grounds.

 Earlier, Briefing the Senate Committee on Home Affairs, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that the Afghan Taliban had initially negotiated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan's (TTP) and tried to get the TTP people to settle issues with Pakistan but the talks could not go ahead as TTP's conditions were unacceptable.

The Federal Minister said that our delegation has again gone for talks with the TTP but the success of the talks is not likely as they are standing on their own terms.

The Interior Minister said that TTP people are present in the border areas of Afghanistan and many groups may have come together, two of their terrorists have been killed in Islamabad in recent days, TTP has made ten attempts in recent times.

He said that the communication that has been caught in yesterday's incident in Balochistan, revealed the people were not only in touch with Afghanistan and India but also from some other place. 

Rashid further said that seven of our people including a major were martyred in the attack. He added that we have directed all Chief Secretaries to keep the forces alert.

Rashid said that we cannot cut off communication unless the province itself says to do so. He further said that yesterday when we were told we immediately shut down the internet at the request of the provincial government He further said the Internet can be shut down because the Ministry of Interior cannot cut off communication in any area on its own.
