A man was killed on Friday in front of his wife in Jamshoro by a taxi driver which the couple hired to go back to Karachi after visiting Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s shrine in Sehwan Sharif, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, deceased Samandar Khan booked a cab for Karachi from Sehwan Sharif where he came along with his family to pay a visit to the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. 

When the taxi reached Pataro Toll Plaza, the cabbie stopped the car and tried to loot the family. But Samandar Khan offered resistance, on which the cab driver pulled his revolver and shot him dead. 

According to the wife of the deceased, the taxi driver killed her husband in front of her on putting up resistance.

Police said that the slain was a resident of the Kemari area of Karachi.
