Valentine’s Day liquor seized in Gujrat

Police seized a large quantity of liquor in Gujrat meant to be supplied for upcoming Valentine’s Day revelries, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Saturday.

The Rehmania police thwarted an attempt to supply a huge quantity of liquor. The police confiscated a vehicle near Chini Chowk on GT Road in Gujrat and found as many as 192 bottles of alcohol concealed in the hidden spaces of the vehicle.

Police said when the officials checked the vehicle on suspicion at a picket set up on the GT Road, they recovered alcohol bottles of different brands. 

The accused was arrested and a case was registered against him in Rehmania police station. 

SHO Shahzad said that the accused wanted to supply liquor to different areas for Valentine’s Day. s
