Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel on Saturday intercepted a Bahrain-bound passenger and upon searching, recovered 254 grams of heroin from his possession at Islamabad International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The ASF later handed over accused Hazrat Bilal to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further legal action.

The heroin was secretly hidden in 65 capsules inside a shampoo bottle.

The passenger was carrying the bottle as if he was going to use it for his hair once he landed in Bahrain.

The ASF checked the luggage of the accused and found capsules and detained him.
