Xiaomi Pakistan, Air Link launch smart phones’ manufacturing in Lahore

Good news comes for mobile lovers, as Xiaomi Pakistan along with the partnership of Air Link Communication Ltd Friday launched the manufacturing of smartphones at Lahore’s Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

 Air Link CEO Mazhar Hayat Piracha, Xiaomi Pakistan General Manager Peter Chai and Provincial Minister Raja Yasir Humayun cut the ribbon and inaugurated the event.

 Air Link Technologies CEO Muzaffar Hayat Piracha said Xiaomi is the leading market in global tech. He added that smartphone manufacturing is the first step towards accomplishing a major goal.

Provincial Minister Raja Yasir Humayun said that Pakistan is on a journey to export from the imports. This initiative will create thousands of jobs as it will also boost the economy, he added.

General Manager Xiaomi Pakistan Peter Chai said that Xiaomi mobile phone manufacturing in Pakistan is a revolutionary step towards economic recovery.
