Several social media accounts of TLP being run from abroad traced, suspects arrested

According to the contents of a report received by 24News, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing has traced several WhatsApp numbers and social media accounts of the banned organisation being run from abroad.

According to the FIA, several people linked to these accounts have been arrested.

According to the details, cyber crime wing of FIA has arrested 28 people in recent incidents while a total of 75 people have been arrested.

The FIA also successfully eliminated the Twitter trend in favour of the banned organization using technology.

Twenty-eight WhatsApp groups from seven different countries were caught trying to provoke the workers.

According to the report, 13 WhatsApp numbers were being run from India, 4 from the USA, 4 from the UK, 2 from Indonesia, 3 from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Italy and 1 from South Africa.

According to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing, a total of 28 international and 40 local WhatsApp numbers were used to provoke the banned organization into anarchy.

According to the FIA forensic report, 3,000 tweets, 90 Facebook posts and 150 YouTube videos were made to provoke the banned organization.

Details have been sent to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to block all banned online links.
