Deputy Inspector General Lahore Region Naveed Rauf has been given the additional charge of DIG Headquarters at the Punjab prisons inspectorate general, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Punjab Prisons Inspector General Malik Mubashir Ahmed Khan has given the charge and a notification has been issued. 

The post went vacant last week after the transfer of Malik Mubashir as Punjab Prisons inspector general. In order to ensure smooth working at the Punjab prison inspectorate, the DIG Lahore Region will look after the office work of DIG HQ, stated the notification.
