Vaccination rate drops in Sindh

The rate of vaccination in Sindh has dropped as only 571,788 people got vaccinated in the province decreasing the overall rate by 3.18 percent within three days, reported 24News HD TV channel on Monday. 

During the last three days, a 2.93 percent decreased has been witnessed in vaccination in the Karachi division as only 179,520 got the jabs in the entire division.

The data released on September 30 recorded a total vaccination rate of 37.93% across the province. The data released on October 3 saw a decline of 3% and the overall rate was recorded at 34.75%. 
According to the data released on September 30, the overall rate of vaccination in the Karachi division was 45.23% while the rates fell at 2% in the data released on October 3.
So far, 19 million people have been vaccinated across the province. A total of 8.28 million people have been vaccinated in the Karachi division so far.
The highest rate of vaccination in the Karachi Division is recorded in South District. 
A health department spokesman said that tendency to get vaccinated in people had been decreased causing a decrease in the overall vaccination rate.
