A third fake housing society built in the name of Punjab University was unearthed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

As per details, some employees, under the banner of Punjab University Administrative and Technical Staff Association started selling files under the name of Education City Lahore.

The university staff is unlawfully using the university's name, logo, and premises to promote ‘Education City Lahore’.

The university clarified that it had not authorized or approved any such private venture and advised against involvement in any transactions related to this scheme.

The housing project was initiated without proper approval from the Punjab University administration and syndicate.

Moreover, the employees also expressed detachment from ‘Education City Lahore’ like 'PU Town 2'.

Earlier, a fake society ‘PU Town 2’ was built in the name of Punjab University.
