The Punjab School Education Department announced mandatory exams for the positions of Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and District Education Officers (DEOs) across Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to details, it's now required for individuals to pass the exam for the post of CEO in the respective district.

Only those who pass the exam will be appointed as the educational officer for that district.

The Punjab School Education Department has presented recommendations to the government regarding these appointments.

Additionally, tests will be conducted for appointments of District Education Officers (DEOs) across Punjab.

Only those who pass the test will be appointed to these positions.

Moreover, a test for operating computers and a psychological assessment test will also be conducted as part of the appointment process.
