The National Information Technology Board (NITB) has fully implemented the Electronic Filing System in all ministries, 24News HD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the officials of the Ministry of Information Technology, the E-Office System will save millions of rupees of the national exchequer.

The Ministry of IT sources said that in the second phase, the implementation of E-Office will start in the subordinate departments of the ministries.

The sources said that the governments of Balochistan and Sindh provinces have also expressed interest in developing the E-Cabinet Portal for the provincial cabinets.

The sources in IT Ministry said that a state-of-the-art digital portal has also been developed for economic zones that will be inaugurated soon.
